This is a faux mixed greenery bowl - Fittonia, Pumila (Creeping Fig), and Rex Begonia composed together in a terracotta bowl. Fittonia brings fine white-veined leaf texture; Pumila adds bright, small-leafed trailing foliage at the edges; Rex Begonia anchors the center with its patterned red-green coloring. Three forms at three different leaf scales, which is what gives a composition like this its depth at close range.
At 18 inches wide and 10 inches tall, the proportions sit between a tabletop accent and a statement centerpiece - substantial enough to anchor a coffee table or a console, contained enough not to overwhelm a smaller surface.
