Artificial Plants for Desks and Shelves

A desk or a shelf gives you one dimension to work with, and it is usually the wrong one. Depth is short, height is capped by the shelf above, and anything too full stops being decor and starts being an obstruction. Everything in this collection is scaled to that constraint.

Trailing, which falls over the edge and softens the line of the shelf itself. Check the height and spread on each piece against the space you actually have before choosing.

These are the surfaces where a live plant is least likely to survive — interior offices, north-facing rooms, a shelf nobody remembers to water. For the wider, lower compositions that suit a table or counter, or the pieces chosen most often across the range, start there instead.
