This is a faux Peony arrangement - deep crimson Peony blooms set low in a clear glass bowl vase with simulated water, surrounded by autumn-toned foliage in deep red and olive-gold. The leaves radiate outward from the base of the flowers in a wide, flat collar that extends well beyond the vessel edge, which gives the composition its distinctive low, spread quality.
